McKinney-Vento Request for Assistance

McKinney-Vento Request for Assistance

Welcome

The PCOE Request For Assistance (RFA) process and Whole Family Care Management services is increasing identification for students and families who are experiencing homelessness and reducing barriers to link to supportive services.  Through comprehensive outreach and education, PCOE has cast a wide net across Placer County to ensure the form is well-utilized; conducting trainings to schools, local housing shelters, community supports, and county partners in the hopes of spreading knowledge about McKinney-Vento rights, and help families navigate through our local housing services.  Please see below for an overview of the RFA history and implementation and a direct link to the form.
