​ECE Professional Development Workshop and Training Calendars

​PCOE ECE provides professional development workshops to early childhood teachers, parents and family child care providers.  Our workshops are held throughout Placer County.  Topics offered include behavior management, business practices, child development, culture and diversity, early childhood curriculum, school readiness, health and safety, child abuse prevention, licensing-accreditation, and many others.

WHAT AGE DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO ATTEND STATE PRESCHOOL?

Placer County Office of Education, Early Childhood Education offers preschool programs for three and four year old children that prepare children for school success.​​​

WHERE ARE STATE PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS OFFERED? 

Placer County Preschool Programs are available in Auburn, Colfax, Kings Beach, Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville.​

WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE LEARNING?

State Preschools have structured preschool programs that include areas of learning for Math, Literacy and Letters, Science, Music, Art, Outdoor play and more.​​​
