PCOE Leadership and Learning CollaborativeThe Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) Leadership and Learning Collaborative (LLC) prepares and supports educators along a continuum of service from Pre-Intern/Para-professional preparation through Doctorate in Education.

The PCOE LLC includes five Commission on Teacher Credentialing accredited/approved programs including:​

  • Education Speci​alist Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Intern Programs
  • Multiple and Single Subject and Education Specialist Clear Teacher Induction
  • Preliminary Administrative Services
  • Clear Adm​inistrator Services Induction.

​​Additionally, PCOE partners with the following university to offer additional bachelors and post-graduate programs:

Brandman University 

  • BA Liberal Studies 
  • MA in Education - Teaching and Learning
  • MA in Education with the Educational Administration Emphasis
  • EDD in Organizational Leadership

PCOE's Pathways to Teaching and Leadership

In cooperation with Brandman University, PCOE has developed two credentialed programs. These are the steps offered in the PCOE Pathway to teaching and leadership.

AdministratorsThe PCOE Leadership and Learning Collaborative supports administrator preparation through the Preliminary and Clear Administrative Services Credential Programs.  Additionally, PCOE offers both an Aspiring and a Veteran Administrator program.  ​

 Coaching for Educators

Coaching for EducatorsThe Placer County Office of Education supports districts in their Instructional Coaching, Induction Coaching, and Teacher on Special Assignment programs. We have a variety of resources and professional development opportunities designed specifically to maximize the effectiveness of these positions.
