The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) provides a comprehensive approach to professional learning including opportunities for training, coaching, and lesson study. PCOE currently supports schools, districts, and county offices of education.
The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) supports districts in their Instructional Coaching, Induction Coaching, and Teacher on Special Assignment programs. We have a variety of resources and professional development opportunities designed specifically to maximize the effectiveness of these positions.
PCOE staff works with schools and districts to design and facilitate customized professional development. Options include professional development and training, implementation support, coaching, demonstration lessons, lesson study facilitation and trainer of trainer models.
PCOE offers multiple professional development events in the areas of academics, behavior, leadership, and social emotional support. Events include training provided by national speakers and experts.
